when i was a kid i laughed at the dads reactions cause i thought the ride broke down and he was like wtf happening. Now im alot older and know what the hell happened well lets say im not laughing now

What what happened did his leg get hit or something sorry I don’t know what happened

The ride manufacturer told the amusement park that the cable needed to be inspected ever 2 months ( or 3, can't remember exactly). The park was only doing it every 6 to 9 months. Trying to be cheap and almost killed 2 people AND had to settle a huge amount. You know...putting your customers safety first is WAAAYYYY cheaper then a settlement. Hope the douche bottle responsible got fired.

I was actually at the park when this happened and this only happened i belive a couple of days/weeks after the ride opened up and we never saw it go backwards. And it was the first time me and my dad saw it go off so he recorded it and he looked at me and I asked him "is it suppose to do that" and after all those years I now know

If you've seen tow cables snapping you know steel cables release enough tention and force to fuckin atomize a person. And this all happened because the company was 19 days late on a six month inspection that was suppost to occur every month :facepalm
